Check which image files still exist inside word/media.
A broken reference and a missing target entry are not the same. This tool inventories supported image relationships and candidate entries, not decoded picture content. An unreferenced entry is not automatically the lost picture, and partial coverage can withhold the candidate list. No layout, caption, original mapping or recovery is promised.

A package finding is not a repair guarantee. If image bytes are absent, this tool cannot recreate them. Keep the original and a backup before any manual change.
Recoverable does not mean repaired
- Copy first. Keep the untouched DOCX and work only from a duplicate.
- Verify the payload separately. A ZIP entry name is not proof of nonempty or readable image data. Its contents may be damaged or unrelated; this tool does not decode them.
- Preserve uncertainty. An orphan file does not prove which drawing position, crop, caption or rId it originally belonged to.
