Trace the missing picture’s references inside the DOCX.

A drawing may have no relationship row, a NULL target, a missing target entry or an external source. Separate unreferenced entries may also remain in word/media. This local check distinguishes supported package states, keeps unknown targets unknown and reports incomplete coverage. It cannot determine whether Word display settings or damaged image contents caused the symptom.

A package finding is not a repair guarantee. If image bytes are absent, this tool cannot recreate them. Keep the original and a backup before any manual change.

Broken referenceThe drawing uses an rId that has no row or no usable target.

Target entry absentA known internal path has no matching package entry. A missing rId or NULL target is different: its intended path is unknown.

Separate candidate entriesUnreferenced entries are not automatically the missing picture. Their payload, layout and original relationship are unverified.

Stop condition: this is diagnosis, not automatic repair. Preserve the original. A missing target does not mean the original image can be reconstructed.

Optional usage measurement

The inspector works without analytics. If you allow it, Yandex Metrica receives a page view and event names for an audit start, a complete supported image-graph diagnosis, a partial result or a read error. Our events include no file name, package path, relationship ID, target or document content. The provider can receive technical data such as IP address, browser details and cookies. No session replay or click maps.
